Fundraising is focused on two needs: our longstanding efforts to support maintenance and capital improvements at 14 Leroy Street, and funding for further investigation into our legal options. Maintenance
14 Leroy Street is a truly marvelous property, dating back to before the Civil War and nearing 165 years old. Like any house, it requires ongoing maintenance. Some projects are substantial, such as a new roof, while others are more modest, but the need for upkeep is constant. Alumni have raised over a quarter of a million dollars in the last decade to address deferred maintenance and keep the property in top shape.
Legal Fund
A Rochester law firm has been identified to conduct the legal due diligence. This work will require $5,000, and existing alumni funds will not be used for this purpose. Any remaining funds will be transferred to the alumni fund. Donations to the legal fund may be made using the same options listed below.
